NEWS

  • Our final event of the year is the IES Cleveland Section Golf Outing on Friday, June 4th, 2010 at Pine Ridge Country Club in Wickliffe, Ohio. The proceeds go toward education for the section and the Student Scholarship. See the front page of the Lumen Press for more details. Hope to see you there.

  • We would like to thank our three guest speakers for the May program:
Marian Perez of Karpinski Engineering: Epworth-Euclid Church
Steven Marshall, Brewer-Garret – CSU Lighting Energy Upgrades
Greg Shick of Bright Focus Sales – Terminal Tower Relighting

  • Each of the three presenters focused on the issues and problems they encountered to produce an outstanding project and insite into what you need to know when submitting for an IES Illumination Award. For presenting, each presenter was given a certificate and a replica of a deck prism.

  • This will conclude the programs for the 2009-2010 IES Programming Season. I would like to thank the Officers and Board of Directors for their hard work this season and hope we can bring you a variety of programs next season that will peak your interest enough to attend our educational programs. Along this line, we have a program meeting in late June to look at programs for next year. If you have any ideas or thoughts on what educational program you would like to hear, contact Jason Brown @ [jbrown@intellillum.com].

  • For future programs, take a look at our Calendar of Events.

  • For payment next year, we are looking at PayPal on our website as an option. The credit card machine is becoming too expensive to use and we are looking at other options of payment for programs, Lumen Press ads and sponsorships.
